Suzanne (Weidemann) Adams, 89, of Pueblo, Colo., passed away June 20, 2012.

Sue was born Oct. 7, 1922, in Ft. Atkinson, Wis., to Sydney and Florence Weidemann. Sue taught first grade at Spann Elementary for 36 years. After retirement, Sue continued tutoring children until the age of 86. Her passion was to teach children to read. Sue was civic minded and belonged to many organizations such as, Assistance League Pueblo, Rosemount, Pueblo Charter Lions Club, PEO, Pueblo Retired Teachers’ Association, Delta Kappa Gamma, AAUW Sorority and Friends of the Library. She also enjoyed her four Bridge clubs and Greenbacks investment club. Sue was a 1940 graduate of Fort Atkinson High School

She is survived by her children, Kathy Meyer of Denver and Tom Little of Pueblo; sister, Cynthia Smith of Ft. Atkinson, Wis.; grandchildren, Jonothan Meyer, Bobbie Walker, Samantha Little and Audra Little; great-grandchildren, Thomas Irvine and Adrian Little. Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Adams.

Arrangements are pending at the Dunlap Memorial Home.
