Scott R. Church, 51, died on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at his home
surrounded by his wife and children following a long battle with
stomach cancer.
He was born on September 27, 1972, in Janesville, the son of Robert
and Nancy (Goodsell) Church.
He was a 1991 graduate of the Fort Atkinson High School and had served
in the U.S. Army Reserves.
On November 9, 1996, he married his soul mate, Kathaleen Lynch at the
St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Scott had owned and operated his own family business as an electrician and contractor.
Survivors include his wife, Kathaleen; their children, Alicia (Jacob)
Halvorson, Kristina Church, Andrea (Aldo) Soto, Daniel Church;
grandchildren, Caiden Soto, Steven Halvorson, Baby Soto, and Baby Church on the
way; his parents, Robert and Nancy Church; one sister, Tricia (Greg)
Abendroth; grandparent, William Church; other relatives and
many friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Helen Church and
maternal grandparents, Martin (Carroll) Goodsell; and his uncle, Lynn
Rothberger.
Friends may come to pay their respects on Friday, April 5, 2024, at
Dunlap Memorial Home from 4 to 6 p.m. followed by a prayer service led by Monsignor James Gunn.
Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.

Cancer Coalition.
