Adrienne Heth Obituary

Adrienne Zenk Heth, 80, of Macclenny, Fla., passed away March 10, 2013, at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville, Fla.

Adrienne was born on May 30, 1932, in Fort Atkinson, Wis., daughter of the late Arnold E. and Genevieve R. Zenk.

She married Don Heth at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson on Feb. 19, 1966. She sang in the Milton College Choir in Milton in the 1950s.

Adrienne was a receptionist at Jones Dairy Farm in Fort Atkinson. She co-founded Heth Real Estate, Inc. in Jacksonville, Fla., in 1970, and the business was sold in 2008. She later retired from AT&T in 1998.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Jacksonville for 42 years, and was active in the Guild and other church functions before becoming a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Macclenny, Fla.

Adrienne was an accomplished tailor, and made her wedding dress and her sons' clothes in the early years. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, gardening, puzzles and reading.

Adrienne is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Don Heth, of Macclenny, Fla.; her sons, Sean R. Heth of Rawlins, Wyo., and Aaron D. Heth of Jacksonville, Fla.; her brother, Dr. William (Jacqueline) Zenk of Lyndon Station; four grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She also was preceded in death by her brother, Robert R. Zenk of Cambridge.

Mass will be held Wednesday, March 13, at 2 p.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Slawomir and Deacon Ken as celebrants. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 12, from 6 to 8 p.m., with the Rosary starting at 6:30 at V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services Chapel in Macclenny, Fla.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations in Adrienne's name can be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.

An additional Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson, Wis., on Wednesday, March 20, at 11:30 a.m., with Father Brian Wilk as celebrant. Interment will follow the Mass at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Fort Atkinson.

The Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson is assisting the family locally.
