Angeline Ott Obituary

Angeline Angie Joan Ott, 81, Fort Atkinson, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011, at the Black Hawk Senior Residence.

She was born on November 25, 1929 in rural Janesville, the daughter of the late Harold and Esther (Olmstead) Olson.

Angie graduated high school from Whitewater Teachers College in 1948. She was proud to claim she helped train many good teachers through her elementary and high school years.

She married Edward A. Ott Jr. on June 28, 1948 in Whitewater. He died on August 1, 2002.

After raising her family, she graduated from Madison Area Technical College as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Angie worked her twenty plus year nursing career at Countryside Home in Jefferson.

She spent her retirement years dabbling in antiques and collectables and enjoying her many animals with Ed.

Survivors include her three children, Joan Baker, Eugene (Susan) Ott both of Fort Atkinson, Dale-Sue (James) ODonnell of Kaufman, TX; six grandchildren,
Tammy (Mike) Flemming, Christopher Ott, Wyatt (Carrie) Baker, Erin (Troy) Hake, Wendy (Erik) Lee, Wes Baker; four great-grandchildren, Krys, Sierra, Emily, Eric; and three step great-grandchildren, Dylan, Devon, and Gabriel; one brother, John Olson of Whitewater; other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dawn Olson and Bertha Kurtzweil; one brother, Harold (Ole) Olson; and a son-in-law, Danny Baker.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2011, at 2:30 p.m. at the Cold Spring Cemetery with Chaplain Shannon Finger officiating. Following the graveside service, there will be a gathering and luncheon at the Cold Spring Inn.
