Arthur J. Salzwedel Sr.

Arthur J. Salzwedel Sr., 88, of Fort Atkinson, passed away Friday, December 07, 2012 at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek.

Arthur was born on August 18, 1924 in North Fort, Nebraska son of Alvert and Elsie Salzwedel. He married Evelyn Dohs on February 25, 1947.

Arthur was very active in AA and was an avid antique dealer and collector.

Arthur is survived by his wife Evelyn of Fort Atkinson; daughters, Debra (Wally) Ruud and Penny (Dave) Peirce both of Janesville; son, John (Cindy) Salzwedel of Baraboo; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Arthur Salzwedel Jr.; daughter, Linda Gregoire; sisters, Wilhelmina Eastman and Lilly Salzwedel and an infant brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the memorial home until time of service.
