Barbara Ann Bobbe

Barbara Ann (Schaufelberger) Bobbe 73 of Whitewater, Wisconsin died unexpectedly on April 24, 2024. Barbara was born on February 12, 1951 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to parents Paul and Lorraine (Rickard) Schaufelberger. She was the oldest of five children. Barbara grew up in Mequon, Wisconsin and attended Homestead High School and the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Barbara married her college sweetheart John Bobbe, on August 24,1974. Together they have one son, Andrew Bobbe and one grandson Ruhn Bobbe. Before retiring, Barbara worked for Midwest Airlines in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Cedar Crest Senior Living in Janesville, Wisconsin.

Barbara loved her family very much. Barbara was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, and she had many passions in life. Barbara loved to read, play pickle ball, take walks with her husband and attend the county fairs to watch her grandson show his animals. She loved spending time with her grandson. Barbara had a soft spot for animals, especially dogs, cats, birds, and horses. Barbara volunteered her time to several yearly fund raisers to help raise awareness. An organization dear to her heart is SMILES- Special Methods in Learning Equine Skills. Barbara was a volunteer at SMILES for 31years. She was passionate about the horses, the mission of the organization and the wonderful clients she served.

Barbara is survived by her husband John Bobbe of Whitewater, Wisconsin. Her son Andrew Bobbe and his wife Jamie (Walbrandt) Bobbe and grandson Ruhn Bobbe of Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Siblings Gerald Schaufelberger, Mequon, Wisconsin, Paulette (Schaufelberger) and Patrick K.hnen, Rockford, Illinois, Paul and Mary(Anderson) Schaufelberger, Mequon, Wisconsin. James Schaufelberger, Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. Several Aunts, and Uncles including Delores (Rickard) Carpenter, Carole (Rickard) Mateicka, and Gordon Rickard. Several Sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will all miss her humor, laughter, and smile.

Barbara is predeceased by her parents Paul and Lorraine Schaufelberger.

Per Barbara, request, there will be no Funeral Service. In lieu of Flowers, memorials in Barbara's name to: SMILES N2666 County Road K, Darien, Wisconsin 53114, or to an Animal Rescue in your area, in her name.
