Barbee K. Lauer, 59, of Johnson Creek, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012 after a lingering illness.
Barbee was born on April 4, 1953, daughter of Clyde and Vernice (Korth) Hrobsky in Fort Atkinson.
Barbee was a 1971 Fort Atkinson High School graduate and a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson. She had a passion for crafts, gardening and being outdoors and cherished time spent with her grandchildren and family.
Barbee is survived by her fiance, Keith Gleiter of Johnson Creek; children, Lori (Richard) Roberts of Edgerton and Andrew Schultz of Janesville; grandchildren, Madalyn and Rowan Roberts; mother, Vernice (William) Dumke of Winter Haven, FL and brothers, Daniel Hrobsky of Fort Atkinson and Gilbert (Mary) Schaefer of Lake Mills. She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde and her husband, John Lauer.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 3 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson, with pastors Michael Duncan and Paul Scharrer officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the church until time of service.
Memorials may be made to the family.
