Billi Sharon O'Connor

Billi Sharon O’Connor, 86 of Fort Atkinson, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Edgerton Hospital.

Billi was born on August 30, 1937 in Richland Center, WI daughter of the late Ansel and Gladys (Ruse) Schoonover. She married Dennis O’Connor on February 12, 1956 in Richland Center. He preceded her in death on October 14, 2018.

Billi enjoyed being waitress for many years at the Black Hawk. She loved her grandchildren deeply and always made a big deal for birthdays and Christmas.

Billi is survived by her children, Denise (Bill) Coffee, Paul O’Connor, Erin (David) Drake and Cara (Jeff) Bajczyk; grandchildren, Brandon (Ashley) O’Connor, Alicia (Brandon) Nesemeier, Carter (Carrie) Drake, Shelby (fiancé, Keegan) Drake, Jared Bajczyk and Evan Bajczyk and great grandchildren, Rylie, Connor, Nathan, Benny and Katelyn. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ansel Schoonover Jr; sisters, Mildred Himley and Shirley Steinke and daughter-in-law, Christine O’Connor.

A private graveside service took place at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Atkinson. Reverend Luke Bocher officiated the service.

Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson assisted the family.
