Brian A. Hasel, 40, of Evansville, passed away October 27, 2010 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville.
Brian was born on May 12, 1970 in Homestead, FL.
Throughout his childhood, Brian was an active member of the local 4H Club, raising and showing rabbits and training and showing his dog Rusty. After school, Brian joined the Army Reserves and served for eight years earning several medals while on active duty in Panama. His passion was working on cars, deer hunting and fishing (going Walleye fishing on the Mississippi in particular), doing just about anything with his best friend Duane Babler, and recently Brian started trout and fly-fishing with his girlfriend Angela. But what he loved the most was spending time with his daughter Angel.
Everyone who knew Brian loved his easy going, fun loving, and joking personality. He will be greatly missed by many friends and family members.
Brian is survived by his daughter Angel; his parents, Victor and Valerie Hasel; his biological mother, Yvonne Stafford; his brothers, Gene, Mark and Greg Hasel and his grandmother, Jeanne Orton (Hasel). He was preceded in death by his grandfather Merlin Hasel, and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Brydges.
Memorial Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2010 at the Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson with Pastor Dave Fogderud officiating. Friends may call from 5 p.m. on Friday at the memorial home until time of service.
Memorials may be made to the family.
