Carol A. Keeser

Carol A. Keeser, 83, of Fort Atkinson, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024, at her home.

Carol was born on June 6, 1941, in Watertown, daughter of the late Laurence and Alice (Parpart) Zielsdorf. On October 17, 1959, she married Russell Keeser. He preceded her in death on November 12, 2008.

Carol worked as a CNA at Willowbrook Nursing Home in Lake Mills for 30 plus years before retiring. She enjoyed listening to music, especially Blake Shelton, Elis and Willie Nelson. She loved to crochet and made sure everyone in her family had a blanket she made. Her love for her family was immense.

Carol is survived by her children, Linda (Dale) Schier, Charles (Sherri) Keeser and Kathleen Kaercher; grandchildren, Roderick Schier, Jackie Cassidy, Candise Kesting, Jacob and Benjamin Keeser, Nicole Perez and Jennifer Keeser; 19 great grandchildren and brother, Howard Zielsdorf. She was also preceded in death by her son, Frederick Keeser and sisters, Barbara Gaugert and Joann Raether.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 23, 2024, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Johnson Creek. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. on Monday at the church until the time of service. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Johnson Creek.
