Carolyn Joyce Armbruster, 83 of Fort Atkinson/Whitewater, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024.
Carolyn was born on November 12, 1940 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Frank and Violet (Kujawa) Polski. In 1959 she graduated from South Division High School and in 1963 she married Ronald Armbruster.
Carolyn and Ron moved to Fort Atkinson in 1976. She worked at Thomas Industries and then at Jones Dairy Farm until her retirement.
She loved casino gambling trips and playing bingo at the senior centers in Fort Atkinson, Jefferson and Lake Mills. Many will miss her “Chicken Legs” when B-11 was called.
Carolyn is survived by her sister-in-law, Ione Champayne; nieces, Barbara (Polski) Belmont and Susan Polski; and nephew, Michael Polski. She will be greatly missed by her friends, Carol Ann Christie and Angie Reed and her feline companion, Lady. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years, Ron; her parents and her brother, Robert Polski.
No formal services are planned at this time.
