Cristina Torres Cid Obituary

Cristina Elena Torres Cid, 7, of Fort Atkinson, passed away far too soon on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at her home. She was born on December 14, 2018, in Fort Atkinson, daughter of Darren Ramirez and Jessica Torres Cid. She brought seven unforgettable years of love, laughter, and light to everyone lucky enough to know her.

Cristina was, in every sense of the phrase, a Daddy’s girl. She had a special bond with her father, that was equal parts sweetness, mischief, and pure devotion. She also shared a deep and beautiful connection with her mother, who will forever carry Cristina’s laughter and tenderness in her heart.

She was known as a late-night talker, which meant that when the world was winding down, Cristina was often just getting started. While others were ready for sleep, she was ready for conversation. Those late-night talks became treasured moments.

She loved bright lights, and that seemed fitting, because she brought her own brightness wherever she went. Her family will remember how she could light up a space with her smile and her personality.

Her family will remember her as a blessing for all seven years of her life. That blessing was not quiet or ordinary. It came with laughter, affection, personality, and a presence that made life richer. Cristina did not need a long lifetime to leave a lasting mark.

Cristina will be remembered with deep love, endless tenderness, and a smile that could light up even the darkest room. She was a precious child, a treasured daughter, a devoted sister, and a beloved granddaughter. Her family will carry her with them always, and her light will remain part of their lives forever.

Cristina is survived by her parents, Darren Ramirez and Jessica Torres Cid; her siblings, Jaden Cayetano, Marianna Cayetano and Genesis Torres Cid; grandfather, Homero Torres Sanchez and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph and Mary Toth and Cristina Cid Jimenez; cousin, Agustin Flores and uncle, Lorenzo Dominguez.

A prayer service will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. on Tuesday until the time of service. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Fort Atkinson.
