Daniel Emil Miller, 92, of Fort Atkinson, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family.
Daniel was born on February 2, 1921 in Fort Atkinson, son of the late John and Alma (Heyse) Miller. He married Helen Viesselman on December 12, 1942 in California.
Daniel was a WWII veteran serving in the United States Army and was stationed in both Germany and Japan. He was the owner of Miller Manufacturing in Fort Atkinson, starting the company in 1960.
Daniel enjoyed traveling, dancing and collecting antique cars and trucks. He was very dedicated to his business and cherished the time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Helen of Fort Atkinson; daughter, Shari (Dennis) Verhalen of Fort Atkinson; grandchildren, Paul (Carol) Verhalen and Andrew (Jennifer) Verhalen all of Fort Atkinson and great granddaughters, Emily June and Jenna Ann Verhalen.
A private family graveside service was held in Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Rainbow Hospice.
