Darrell R. Prisk, Sr. 73, of Fort Atkinson, passed away Tuesday, February 07, 2012 at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek.
Darrell was born on December 12, 1938 in Janesville, son of the late Raymond and Myrtle (Gempeler) Prisk. He married Judith Krebs on March 27, 1958 in Fort Atkinson.
Darrell along with his son owned Prisk Construction Co.
Darrell cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. He also enjoyed hunting, being outdoors and watching NASCAR, always cheering for Matt Kenseth. He also enjoyed taking trips to the Rainbow Casino in Nekoosa.
Darrell was also very passionate about the Buckskinner Rendezvous. He would get all his grandchildren involved and help set up a teepee in time for all the school children to come for tours.
Darrell is survived by his wife, Judith; children, Darrell Prisk, Jr. of Fort Atkinson, Jonathan (Carolyn) Prisk of Fort Atkinson, Lisa (Tim) Belstner of Jefferson, Laurie (Jon) Green of Cambridge and Steve (Jackie) Prisk of Fort Atkinson; grandchildren, Dale (Emily), Nate, Nick, Sherry, Christie and Jonathan Jr. Prisk, Gunner and Gaston Green and Tom, Tyler and Tyson Prisk; brothers, Don (Sharon) of Whitewater and Dennis (Pat) of Fort Atkinson. He was also preceded in death by his brother Richard.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Bill Beyer officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. on Saturday at the church until time of service. Burial will take place in Lakeview Cemetery.
