David C. Alexander

David C. Alexander, 72, of Fort Atkinson, passed away on Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at Fort Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family.

David was born on Feb. 24, 1938, in Fort Atkinson, son of the late Eli and Florence (Wendt) Alexander. He married Janice Barlow on Dec. 27, 1958, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson.

David enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, bowling, watching sports, talking with friends, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Janice; children, David (Patsy) of Juneau, and Jeff (Shari) Alexander, Timothy Alexander and Melissa (Timothy) Billings, all of Fort Atkinson; grandchildren, Heather, Michelle, Mya, Austin and Jasmine; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Nicholas and Lauren; sister, Dorothy Klug of Fort Atkinson; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Richard and Jerry; and sisters, Donna Mae, Beatrice and Caroline.

A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 15, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with Father Jay Poster officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Lakeview Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
