Dennis Nowakowski Obituary

Dennis R. Nowakowski, 79, died on Feb 6, 2011 at his home surrounded by family, after a brief illness with pancreatic cancer.
Dennis was born in Milwaukee on April 11,1931. He graduated from Whitewater High School. He married Betty Yaeggi in Fort Atkinson on Nov. 28,1952.
Dennis was employed at Borg Textile of Jefferson until he retired in 1995. He enjoyed bowling, bar tending for parties and at Club 26 Supper Club.
His fondest love was for his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Betty; sons; Ron (Karen) of Madison and Randy (Teri) of Whitewater; daughters; Pam (Dave) Mack, Kim (Loren) Jacobson, Kelly (Brian) Pattermann and Peggy (Jim) Brandenburg all of Fort Atkinson; grandchildren, Erin (Andy) Nelson, Heather (Keith) Moritz, Brandon (Rachel) Pattermann, Brittany (fiance Paul Foltz) Pattermann, Austin, Cody and Daniel Jacobson, Olivia, Sawyer and Emerson Brandenburg all of Fort Atkinson. Great Grandchildren: Alyssa Nelson, Trinity and Trista Yackels and Vaida Moritz all of Fort Atkinson;in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday February18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1660 Endl Blvd in Fort Atkinson with Father Jay Poster officiating. Burial will follow in St. JosephCemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church and from 10 a.m. on Friday at the church until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rainbow Hospice or to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
