Dolores L. Piehl

Dolores L. Piehl, 91, of Whitewater, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025, at her home.

Dolores was born on December 8, 1933 in Chicago, IL, daughter of the late Samuel and Minnie (Flucard) Brown.

Early on, Dolores worked as a gate attendant for Eastern Airlines and later as an administrative assistant for her husband’s financial planning business.

Dolores and her husband Jon Pruner moved to Prairie Village in Whitewater in 2012. He preceded her in death in 2015. On October 12, 2019 she married Richard “Dick” Piehl.

Dolores is survived by her husband Dick Piehl and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Melvin, Rose, Samuel and Marcus.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025 at the Prairie Village Community Center in Whitewater. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at Willwood Burial Park in Rockford, IL.
