Dorothy C. Haferman, 87, of Fort Atkinson, died on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Sunset Ridge Assisted Living in Johnson Creek.
She was the daughter of John and Emma Lipperer of Fort Atkinson. She was born June 20, 1925 in Sturgeon Bay.
Dorothy was a graduate of St. Joes and from the Fort Atkinson High School in 1943.
She married Charles J. Haferman on February 3, 1945 in Fort Atkinson. Charles passed away on November 27, 1975.
She was a cashier at Dales Super Value in Jefferson, and at DeWitts and Shopko in Fort Atkinson. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its CCW.
Survivors include her son, Rodney (Kathy) of Markesan; grandson, Chris (Michelle) Haferman; great grandchildren, Samantha and Nicholas; sister Gladys Rueth of Jefferson; brothers, Ray (Diann) Lipperer of Jefferson, and Joe (Maryann) Lipperer of Milwaukee; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws Doug (Wanda) Haferman of Fort Atkinson and Ron (Marge) Enlger of Columbus; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law Claude (Shirley) Haferman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 22 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1660 Endl Blvd. in Fort Atkinson with Father Brian Wilk Celebrating. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. on Friday at the Church until time of service. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
