Edna L. Finn, 91, Fort Atkinson, died on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at Alden Estates of Countryside in Jefferson.
She was born on October 21, 1919 in Gold Dust, Tennessee, the daughter of Fred and Eva (Haliburton) Wilson.
Edna was a graduate of the West Allis High School.
She married Edward J. Finn of Fort Atkinson on June 30, 1962.
Edna had been employed by the former Moe Light / Thomas Industries in Fort Atkinson.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Edwin Frohmader Post #1879 VFW Auxiliary.
Edna enjoyed sewing, crocheting, needle point, gardening, cooking, canning, and flowers.
Survivors include her husband, Edward; one daughter, Donna (Al) Daum of Santee, CA; four grandchildren, Cole (Stephanie) Marshall, Christopher (Christina) Marshall, Cam Hedberg, Tim Spalla; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great- grandson; one brother, Floyd Larry Wilson of Sun City, AZ; one sister, Katherine Schmitt of Muskego; one step-daughter, Jeannie Kay (Jack) Schamwoski of Schaumburg, IL; many step-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband, Harry Jimmy VanRoosenbeek; a daughter, Diane Marshall; a grandson, Marty Spalla; 4 brothers, Virgil, Herbert, Fred, Richard; three sisters, a twin Lucille, Mabel, Marion; and a step-son, David Finn.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Russell Frees Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery, along with the cremains of her daughter, Diane Marshall.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, with the VFW Auxiliary Service at 7 p.m., at the Dunlap Memorial Home and after 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the church until the time of service.
If desired, memorials may be made to the Wisconsin Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society or Alzheimers Association.
