Ervin J. Raasch

Ervin J. Raasch, 71, of Jefferson, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at his home.
Ervin was born on April 26, 1939 in Palmyra, son of the late Paul and Maybelle (Baldwin) Raasch. He married Harriette Deanne Buchanan on April 18, 1964 in Fort Atkinson.
Ervin, in his spare time enjoyed making bird houses and doing yard work.
He is survived by his wife Harriette; children, Stanley Raasch of Jefferson, Cindy (Steven) Sayre of Fort Atkinson, Ervin (Susan) Raasch of Adams, Deanne Burns of Newtown, MO and Eugene Raasch of Jefferson; grandchildren, Brandon and Pam Sayre, Lisa (Dale) Bowser, Timothy, Aaron and James Buchanan, Ashley (Johnny) Danner, Amanda (Seth) Young and Christopher Burns; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Eugene (Tina) Raasch and Walter (Lou) Raasch both of Fort Atkinson; sister, June Buchanan of Whitewater; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by an infant brother and a sister Eleanor Zillmer.
Memorial services were held this morning at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson. Burial will take place at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery.
