Evelyn E. Salzwedel

Evelyn E. Salzwedel, 91, of Janesville, formerly of Fort Atkinson, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville.

Evelyn was born on April 20, 1922 in Janesville, daughter of the late William and Louise Dohs. She married Arthur Salzwedel on February 26, 1947 in Janesville.

She enjoyed crocheting and needle point along with cooking, working outside in her yard and gambling at De Jope in Madison.

Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Debra (Wally) Ruud and Penny (Dave) Pierce both of Janesville; son, John (Cindy) Salzwedel of Baraboo; many grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Sr.; son, Arthur Jr. and daughter, Linda Gregoire.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2014 at the Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson with Pastor Bill Beyer officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home until time of service.
