Frances Marie Pomplin

Frances Marie Pomplin 100 of Fort Atkinson, WI formerly from Winter Garden, FL but born and raised in Fond du Lac, WI passed away on February 6, 2011 at Wellington Meadows in Fort Atkinson.
She was born on September 1, 1910 to Della Mary Clohesy and William Henry Walgenbach.
She was raised in Fond du Lac, WI, later to run her own beauty shop for over 25 years. Frances was very involved in her community all her life and enjoyed a local Bridge club a couple times a week. Frances retired before she was 50 so that she and her best friend Eleanor Briggs could travel all over the world as they did.
Frances and her daughter Joan moved to Winter Garden FL in 1994, Frances was involved in Daughters of Mary at Resurrection Catholic Church. They resided at Hyde Park a 55+ Community. Frances was involved in the Bridge and Skippo card clubs, Bible Study Group and Line Dancing, and went on many field trips.
Frances is survived by her sister Cecelia (Harold) Loche; grandchildren, Kathryn Williams and Robert (Kimberly) Williams and great grandchildren, Ryan Hickey, Brianna Moncher and Nicholas and Nathan Williams.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband Roland Pomplin and daughter Joan Ann Williams.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2011 at the Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson. Friends may call from 5 p.m. on Friday at the memorial home until time of service.
