Garrett was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church, the Lions Club, and the 90 Plus Group at Soups On. He enjoyed playing cards with his family and many friends. He and Ethel especially enjoyed sitting on their side porch watching the birds, deer, and other wild life on their lawn.
