Glorraine Ida Seavert

Glorraine I. Seavert, 88, Town of Aztalan, Jefferson, died on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at the Fort Memorial Hospital.

She was born on September 28, 1922, in Fort Atkinson, the daughter of the late Walter and Elsie (Kellenbenz) Regelein.

Glorraine was a graduate of the Fort Atkinson High School, class of 1940.

She was married to Fred Beckard Sr., who preceded in death.
Glorraine later married Clarence Seavert on May 18, 1993. He died in 1997.

She had been employed by the former Creamery Package in Fort Atkinson and later at Fairhaven in Whitewater.

Glorraine was a member of the First English Lutheran Church in Whitewater.

She enjoyed collecting recipes, baking, and canning. Glorraine also enjoyed communicating with her friends.

Survivors include two sons, Larry (Sandra) Beckard of Jefferson, Richard Beckard of Greenfield; a daughter, Diane (Gary) Wollet of Jefferson; a daughter-in-law, Carol Beckard of New Hope, MN; 15 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many friends, including Ken and Cheryl Stegman of Jefferson.
Also preceding in death was a son, Fred Beckard Jr. and a granddaughter, Michelle Gehrmann.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at 12 Noon, at the First English Lutheran Church, Whitewater, with the Rev. Steve Hanson officiating.

Burial will be in the Rock River Cemetery, Jefferson.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. on Saturday at the church until the time of service.

If desired, memorials may be made to the church.

A luncheon will follow the funeral service prior to going to the cemetery.
