Harry Zaverl

Harry Zaverl passed away peacefully in his home, at 69, on November 17,2024, surrounded by loved ones who were able to be there. He was born on December 26th, 1954, in Springfield, IL, to Frank and Frances Zaverl.

Harry is survived by his brother Frank (Paula) Zaverl Jr. of Boston, MA; his former wife Deb Zaverl of Whitewater, WI; his children Justin (Kim) Zaverl of Richfield, WI, Tara Zaverl of Fort Atkinson, WI, and Aaron Zaverl of Elkhorn, WI; his four grandchildren Bailey Neujahr, Hailey Zaverl, Logan Zaverl, and Olivia Zaverl; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Frances Zaverl and his half-sister Karen.

Harry spent his life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute and new person he met. He enjoyed traveling up north to go hunting with his boys, traveling around the country in his van, taking vacations to new countries with his family and friends, and always having a good time with an old fashion. He spent much of his time enjoying the company of his family and friends, especially his three dogs: Luna, Callie, and Nova. Harry loved to dance and would always find a way to pull you out onto the dance floor.

The family would like to thank Rainbow Hospice for their work in making his final times peaceful and comfortable.

A celebration of Harry’s life will be held at a later date.
