Ida Kay Ostrander, 71, of Jefferson, died Friday, April 5, 2013 at Aurora West Allis Medical Center.
Ida was born on August 9, 1941 in Victor, West Virginia daughter of the late Roland and Zada (Christ) Terry.
Her family moved to Fort Atkinson in 1956 and graduated from Fort Atkinson High School. She had worked for many years as a CNA at Manasses Manor Nursing Home in Manasses, VA and at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital until retiring in 1989, due to disability.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Bell of Watertown and Wanda Bingham of Jefferson; grandchildren, Melissa and Christopher Smulders, Rafe and Brittany Bingham and George Bo Victor Broomall; great grandchildren, Jayden Hough, Allan Jansen, Carter Dean and Alexis Kay Bingham; sister, Mary (Jim) Roethel of Fort Atkinson; special cousins, Juanita Letson of Virginia, Brenda Helwig of Whitewater and W. James Terry of West Virginia and a very special friend, Sue Emerich.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 13 at First Baptist Church, 420 Whitewater Ave. in Fort Atkinson, with Pastor Rod Anderson officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson and from 9 a.m. on Saturday at the church until time of service. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
