Joann I. Weiss

Joann I. Weiss, 71, of Fort Atkinson, passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 at Alden Estates of Countryside in Jefferson.
Joann was born on May 9, 1940, daughter of the late Corliss and Vera (Freemore) Lenz in Fort Atkinson.
Joann enjoyed bowling, watching her boy wrestle, and the Packers. She also had a great passion for spending time with her family and camping. Joann was instrumental in starting the Fort Atkinson Youth Football program along with Rich Weiss and Ron and Vickie Hachtel.
Joann is survived by her children Coleen Lutz, Jamie Lutz and Mike Lutz all of Fort Atkinson; their father Bill Lutz; his daughter Holly Lutz; Chad Weiss and his father Richard Weiss; grandchildren, Lacey McDermott, Haley Kessler and Hunter Lutz; brothers, Willard (Pat) Lenz of Fort Atkinson and Richard (Wendy) Lenz of Brookfield, other relatives and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2011 at Rock River Lanes Banquet Hall.
