John Daniel "Jack" Brandenstein II, aged 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 26, 2024, in Madison, Wisconsin, after a brave battle with illness. Born on April 15, 1951, in Watertown, Wisconsin, Jack was a man known for his loving nature, selfless spirit, and an ever-present sense of humor that brought joy to all who knew him.
Jack dedicated his life to the masonry and construction industry, where his strong work ethic and camaraderie with colleagues were deeply valued. His impact on the community was not only seen in the buildings he helped construct but also in the hearts he helped build with his kindness and generosity.
A true outdoorsman, Jack found solace in the serenity of fishing and took pride in his ability to cultivate beauty through his passion for gardening. His green thumb was evident in the lush gardens he nurtured over the years. A devoted sports fan, Jack relished the excitement of watching his favorite teams, the Brewers and Packers, play.
Above all, Jack cherished the time spent with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter Beth Bergmann (Casey), son John Brandenstein (Dawn), brother David Brandenstein (Tracy), and five grandchildren: Tyler, Cody Flatt, Ayden, Carson Bergmann, and Samantha Brandenstein.
Jack's legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will be carried forward by those who were fortunate enough to experience his remarkable presence. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered as a beacon of light in the lives he touched.
A Celebration of Jack's life will be held at a later date in Watertown.
