Judith A. Bohling, 67, Fort Atkinson, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at home with her family by her side.
She was born on October 21, 1945, in Danville Illinois, the daughter of the late Lowell and Evelyn (Spoden) Carpenter.
Judy retired from Jones Dairy Farm after many years of service, and also volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul in Jefferson.
Judy enjoyed gardening, her flowers, and taking care of her two cats, Kiki and Sammy.
She had a strong work ethic, a large circle of friends, had many good times, and shared a lot of good memories with her family.
Judy was a loving and caring grandmother and great-grandmother and spent a lot of time with them.
Survivors include her children, Chris (Dennis) Hummel, Kenneth Prevette, Alan (Mary Bilkey) Bohling, Kimberly (Rick) Chapman all of Fort Atkinson; grandchildren, Cindy (Tim Klug) Chapman, Keith and Kevin Chapman, Jill (Stan Rockwood) Bohling, James (Mallary Plucinski) Bohling, Joseph (Erica Stockfish) Bohling, Brett Macklem, Vanessa Hummel, Eric (Shelly) Hummel, Heather (Steve) Hartwig; great-grandchildren, Kaylie and Mason Klug, Jackson Rockwood, Danny, Jordon and Hallie Hummel, Brooke and Nathan Hartwig; aunt Betty, uncle Bobby, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Dunlap Memorial Home with Pastor Paul A. Scharrer officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. on Monday at the Memorial Home until the time of service.
If desired, memorials may be made to Rainbow Hospice Care Inc. or St. Pauls Evangelical Lutheran Church.
The family would like to acknowledge the great care given by the hospice team, and a special thank you to her nurse, Joyce. She made this time easier for the family.
