June Raasch Buchanan, 84, of Whitewater, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek.
June was born on March 22, 1928 in Fort Atkinson, daughter of the late Paul and Maybell (Baldwin) Raasch.
June loved to cook and clean. Her home was always open as she enjoyed taking care of many people.
June is survived by her children, Susan (Al Kuenzi) Buchanan of Johnson Creek, and Tim (Mary) Buchanan of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren, Robert Weiland of Richland Center, Terry (Becky) Petitt of Milton, Jose Villanueva of Michigan, Celia Villanueva of Whitewater, Lisa (Dale) Bowser of Adams Friendship, Tim, Aaron and James Buchanan of Adams Friendship, Carlyn Tamborini of Milton and Scott Buchanan of Milton; special adopted grandchildren, Mirhanda, Melissa and Charlie Villanueva; 24 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; brothers, Walter (Lou) Raasch and Ike (Tina) Raasch both of Fort Atkinson; Sister-in-law, Harriet Raasch of Jefferson; nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her ex-husband, William Buchanan Sr.; infant daughter at birth; son, William Buchanan Jr.; grandchildren, Mark Buchanan and Christina Howay; brother, Erv Raasch and her sister, Eleanor Zillmer.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 13 at the Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday and from 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the memorial home until time of service.
