June Olson

June Estella Olson (Miller), 84, of Fort Atkinson, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Alden Estates of Jefferson. She was a breast cancer survivor from 1996 to 2013.

June was born on June 10, 1929 in Illinois, daughter of the late Arthur and Irene (Phillips) Miller.

June was very active in the Fort Atkinson Food Pantry for 20 years and worked for many years at the Thrift Shop. She loved putting together puzzles and stained glass. She also enjoyed cooking and sharing her food with family and friends.

June is survived by her children, Susan (Walter) Laesch of Champaign, IL, James (Mary) Olson of Fort Atkinson, Rebecca (Ted) Reeb of Whitewater, Robert (Stephanie) Olson of Lake Mills and Allen Olson of Fort Atkinson; sister, Helen Sarbacker of Browntown, WI; 21 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, Ronald Olson in 2005 and her three brothers.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson with Rev. Delisa Buckingham-Taylor officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at the memorial home until time of service. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
