Justine Jean Poeppel

Justine Jean Poeppel, 86 of Fort Atkinson, died on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Fairhaven in Whitewater.

Justine was born April 11, 1926 in Fort Atkinson to Russell and Anna (Mahler) Zeh. She married Merton Poeppel on Feb. 7, 1948, in Fort Atkinson.

She was a homemaker and volunteered at the coffee shop at the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital.

Justine was a member of the First Congregational Church.

She is survived by her two sons, Richard (Elaine) of Ballwin, MO and Gary (Debbie) of Fort Atkinson; five grandchildren, Katie (Marc) Dippel, Rick (Liz), Gina, Jason and Nathan and four great-grandchildren, Samuel, Joseph, Olivia and Lucas Dippel.
She was predeceased by her husband, parents, a brother Robert Zeh, sisters Loretta Kenseth, Irene Kohl and Virginia Pruefer.

Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. with services following at 11a.m. on Friday at the First Congregational Church with the Rev. Chris Buckingham-Taylor officiating. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Congregational Church.

The Dunlap Memorial Home is assisting the family.
