Kaleb L. Seitz

Kaleb L. Seitz, aged 28, passed away unexpectedly on February 26, 2025, in Waukesha where he was born on July 9, 1996. Kaleb, known for his kind spirit and vibrant determination, spent his life courageously battling addiction and helping others in their own struggles. 

He was a man of faith and found strength in his relationship with God, which guided him through numerous treatment facilities, where he not only sought recovery for himself but also provided support and encouragement to others. Kaleb had a love for the outdoors, often found joy in cutting trees and helping with landscaping. 

Additionally, he expanded his skills by contributing to the construction of his uncle’s home. His free time was filled with the things he loved most: diving into movies, playing video games, indulging in music, hunting, and above all spending time with his dog Oliver. Kaleb cherished moments spent with his beloved family, especially younger brother, sisters, nephew, and grandparents creating memories over games and laughter.

His departure leaves a void in the hearts of those he touched, but his legacy of perseverance and caring endures.

Kaleb is survived by his mother, Angela (Chad) Schuster; father, Adam (Jessica) Seitz; siblings, Nicholas and Abigail Schuster, Skylar, William, Samantha and Carlyn Seitz; maternal grandparents, Greg and Lola Preuss and paternal grandmother, Lynne Seitz. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Carl Seitz and uncle, Greg Preuss.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. on Tuesday until the time of service. A private burial will take place at St. Luke’s Cemetery in Rome.
