LaVern L. Krebs

LaVern L. Krebs, 83, of Fort Atkinson, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024, surrounded by her family.

LaVern was born on January 18, 1941, in Jefferson, daughter of the late Herman and Edna (Berner) Raddatz. She married the love of her life, Michael Krebs Sr. on June 27, 1959, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson.

LaVern was kind, caring and hardworking, she enjoyed reading for relaxation, gambling and cheering on the Packers and Badgers. Her family is what she cherished, she was the best mom, grandma, great grandma and great great grandma.

LaVern is survived by her children, Terri (James) Morois, Michael (Judi) Krebs Jr. and Cheryl (Jeffrey) Marquart all of Fort Atkinson; grandchildren, Tareva (T.J.) Avitt, Kelsey (Tim) Krebs, Ryan Krebs, Kati Morois, Austin Marquart and Taylor Marquart; great grandchildren, Preslee (Kole) Marshall, Ashley (Dalton) Morris, Malachi (Liberty) Morris, Justice Avitt, Chaz Avitt, Emmett Gabrielse, Penelope Gabrielse and Brekan Avitt; great great grandchildren, Zoey and Ryker Marshall and Kashton Allert; many nieces and nephews. LaVern was also preceded in death by her husband Mike; son, Larry Krebs; brother, Gene Raddatz and sister, Nancy Riggs.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. at the church until the time of service.

Memorials may be made in LaVern’s memory to Bethany Lutheran Church, Crown of Life Christian Academy or Rainbow Hospice.
