Linda A. Refior

Linda A. Refior, 81, passed away May 15, 2024 in Fort Atkinson, WI.  She was born in Rockford, Il to Charlie and Mona Reese.  She married, Gene Refior, her high school sweetheart, April 7, 1962 in Whitewater, WI. He predeceased her on May 4, 2024.    They have two daughters, Kris Boyle and Terri Petitt (Don).  

She worked for the University of WI Stout before relocating to Whitewater where she worked as an administrative assistant in the Education department at UW-Whitewater until her retirement.  After retirement, she moved to Mountain Home, AR with her husband where she was an avid reader, liked gardening and traveling.

She is survived by two daughters, grandchildren Rachel Scuglik (Aaron) and Zak Petitt (Abby), great-granddaughters Reese, Amara, and Everly, and niece Luann Gauthier. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Chick Reese (Shelby) and son-in-law Sid Boyle. She will be missed by many friends and family.

Services will be private.
