Marge Lewicki

Magdalene "Marge" Lewicki, 76, of Fort Atkinson, passed away Wednesday,
November 10, 2010 at her home.
Marge was born on January 9, 1934 daughter of the late Alexander and
Angeline (Baran) Luczak in Bay City, MI. She married James Lewicki on May
11, 1957.
Marge touched many people's lives through her work as a registered nurse and
community volunteer. She graduated from Mercy Central School of Nursing in
Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1955. For twenty-five years she worked as a
surgical nurse at
Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital. Over the years Marge participated in a
variety of community activities including the Fort Atkinson Woman's Club,
St. Joseph's Church, Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Meals on
Wheels and the Food Pantry.
She enjoyed the company of family and friends, along with traveling and
crocheting.
Marge is survived by her husband, James; children, Susan McCann of
Oconomowoc, Robert (Mary) Lewicki of Fort Atkinson, James II (Susan) Lewicki
of New Berlin and John (Yvonne) Lewicki of Fort Atkinson; grandchildren,
Mandy (Chris) Tukiendorf, Jonathan and Angela Lewicki; Daniel (Kari Schemm)
Lewicki, David Lewicki, Alyssa, Kristi and Katie McCann and Paige Lewicki;
sister, Grace Swiecicki; sisters-in-law, Geri, Marg and Thelma Luczak; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Marge was also preceded in
death by her brothers, Gene, Jerry and Don Luczak and sisters, Patricia
Brzezinski and Elaine Wiechec.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at
St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson. Friends may call from 5 to 7
p.m. on Friday at the Dunlap Memorial Home with a Rosary beginning at 7 and
from 10 a.m. on Saturday at the church until time of service.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family, Rainbow Hospice or to
St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
