Mona Heffron

Mona passed away on Wednesday February 18, 2026, in Fort Atkinson.

A true lover of all animals with a special place in her heart for her golden boy Zach, an irreplaceable retriever. She can now sing with the birds at full volume. 

Many of you may recall that her homemade pickled eggs & pull-tab earnings were always sent to the Humane Society of Jefferson County.

She was family to many and a friend to all.

She is survived by children- Robyn, Steven and Brent. Her grandchildren, Shar, Adam and Jennifer, and several great grandchildren. Her siblings- Charlie, Betty, Sam, Jackie & Johnny.

Per her request, her & her beloved Zachs ashes, will be laid to rest at a later date.
