Phyllis L. Zeimen

Phyllis Zeimen, 83, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2011, at the London Lodge, Cambridge, where she resided for a number of years.

She was born on September 21, 1927, in Gaza, Iowa, the daughter of the late Ross and Edna (Yungbluth) Bruner.

Phyllis married Bob Zeimen, and they started a floral business in Paulina, Iowa, and later moved the business to Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, where they continued the business for 29 years. Bob died on September 21, 1998.

She was a hard-working, friendly, and generous person.

Survivors include two brothers, Donald (Vera) Bruner of Norfolk, Nebraska, Ivan (Virginia) Bruner of Madison, Wisconsin; many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly; brothers Bruce, Marvin, and Rodney Bruner; and a sister, Eleanor Miller.

Following Phyllis wishes, there will be no funeral services. She looked forward to being reunited with Bob and Kelly.

Family members want to express their deep appreciation and sincere thanks to Meg Torrez and her caring staff at London Lodge for the wonderful care they provided Phyllis during her stay with them.

The Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson is assisting the family.
