Raymond W. Jung, affectionately known as “PaPa”, went to his heavenly home on May 27, 2025. Born May 22, 1940, Raymond lived his life to the fullest, punctuated by laughter, love, and the great outdoors. He married the love of his life, Louise Farnsworth in 1963, had two beautiful children, two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren whom he cherished all greatly.
His passion for fishing, hunting, and bird watching was not just about the thrill of the catch or the quiet observation of nature's wonders, but the deeper connection to the world around him, the serenity of the early morning by the lake, the lessons learned in the patient pursuit of elusive prey, or sometimes just enjoying the company who joined him.
To know Raymie was to know a man who was hard-working, loving in his actions, adventurous in spirit, witty with words, his humor providing light-hearted memories. His adventurous streak led him to explore not just the forests and streams of his beloved Wisconsin but also many different states driving all over the country. The man loved to drive! Approaching every new experience with an open heart, inspiring others to step out of their comfort zones and embrace the unknown.
Loving, funny, and adventurous only scratch the surface of a man whose presence was a true gift. His love was a sanctuary, steadfast and unconditional. His legacy is not just in the memories he leaves behind, but in the lives he touched with his unconditional love. He was a living example of how to find happiness and fulfillment in the simple pleasures of life.
As we bid farewell, let us too, celebrate the incredible man he was and let us carry forward the laughter, love, and sense of adventure, and honor his memory by living our own lives with the same passion and enthusiasm that he did every day. We Love You Pa!
