I’m in a better place
I hope you understand
He needed another angel
To hold His loving hand
I knew you would grieve
But He said not to be scared
He said He’ll never leave
I know He always cared
I know that it hurts
More than you can bear
I know that it seems
More than unfair
But He said it was my time
To come home with Him
So I took the long climb
To where I heard the golden hymn
It really is beautiful
And I’ll save a place for you
One day you’ll see how wonderful
He’ll be waiting for you too
