Robert J. Schueler Sr. 75, of Fort Atkinson, passed away unexpectedly while hunting on Sunday, December 19, 2010.
Robert was born on July 14, 1935 in Tomah to the late Martin and Matilda (Breezee) Schueler Pierce.
Robert was an outdoorsman; an avid hunter, fisherman and trap shooter. Robert was also a very loving and caring father and grandfather. Robert worked many years at Redi-Serve in Fort Atkinson until he retired.
Robert is survived by his wife, Karen of Fort Atkinson; children, Robert (Sue) Schueler of Fort Atkinson and Julie Wisch of Milton; grandchildren, Nathan Frater, Shad Schueler, Jordan (Erica) Schueler and Staria Schueler; brothers, Charles Schueler of Cambridge and Clyde Pierce of Fort Atkinson; sisters, Nancy (Elmer) Zamecnic of Milton, Sharon (Gene) Nuchell of Eat Troy, Linda (Bill) Wesner of Mountain, WI and Sandra (Steve) Cunningham of Edgar; many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a brother Martin Schueler and sisters, Ilene Strese, Virginia Reich and Helen Lehman.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. with funeral services immediately following on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson.
Burial will take place at 12 noon on Thursday, December 23 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Tomah.
