Roger Allen Knaack, 60, of Fort Atkinson, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2011 at his home.
Roger was born on March 13, 1950 in Fort Atkinson, son of Clarence and Marion (Krebs) Knaack. He married Hollie Wolff on April 12, 1969 in Marshall.
Roger was a 1969 graduate of Fort Atkinson High School. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and gardening. He spent a lot of his time tinkering in his garage, but what he loved the most was spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Roger is survived by his wife, Hollie; children, Lanna (Rich) Angle, Tonya (Mike) Griffin, Krista (Richard) Davids, Jamy Knaack and Josie (Rob) Kincaid; grandchildren, Saraya and Makayla Angle, Addie and Henry Griffin, Stormie and September Davids, Cody Kruse, Jack Schave, Gaiven Foreman and Reyne and Hayden Kincaid; parents, Clarence and Sue Knaack; siblings, Sharon (Bob) Wintlend, Butch (Kathy) Knaack, Bunnie (Joe) Zimbrick, Cindy (Don) Rortvedt and Kathy (Don) Cavanna; 37 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Chloe Alizabeth Knaack; brother, Jeff Knaack; infant brothers Ricky and David and grandparents, Ella and William Krebs and Helen and Alvin Knaack.
Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Fort Atkinson with Rev. Chris Buckingham-Taylor officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26 at the Dunlap Memorial Home and from 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at the church until time of service.
Memorials may be made to the family for a charity to be determined.
