Sherrie L. Rogers

Sherrie L. Rogers, 61 of Fort Atkinson, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012.

Sherrie was born on August 7, 1951 in Fort Atkinson, daughter of Kenneth and Inez (Priewe) Krause.

Sherrie was a 1969 graduate of Fort Atkinson High School. She loved being surrounded by family and friends, she was known as Mom to many.

Her passion also included PFI in Genoa City, WI, her clothing boutique Uniquely Yours formerly in Cambridge and was part of the clothing industry for 25 years, along with tending bar at Jefferson Speedway, and caring for others through Visiting Angels, Fort Atkinson, WI.

Sherrie is survived by her children Michael of Fort Atkinson, Jay (Tara) of Jefferson and Angie (Steve) Stortz of Fort Atkinson; grandchildren, Kiana and Cassidi Rogers, Riley and Hunter Rogers and Kaylee Stortz; step grandchildren, Bailey, Meesha and Emma Neujahr; brother, Mike (MaryAnn) Krause of Fort Atkinson; sister, Patty Jo Brumley of Dolores, CO; very special friend, Bruce Taylor; niece, Amber Krause; nephew, Jeremiah (Shelly) Brumley and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Dennis Brumley and dogs, Jake and Jasmine.

Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 27 at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Dunlap Memorial Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
