Shirley M. Buckingham

Shirley M. Buckingham, 86, Fort Atkinson, died on Friday, December 3, 2010, at Alden Estates of Countryside in Jefferson.

She was born on October 9, 1924 in Hebron, the daughter of the late William and Alma (Zeh) Gerber.

Shirley married Harold E. Buckingham of Fort Atkinson on June 6, 1949.
She attended Lima Center School and was a graduate of the Whitewater High School.
She was a member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, Harold; children, Ronald (Sandy) Buckingham of Fort Atkinson and Susan (Mike) Kuba of Oak Creek; grandchildren, Daniel (Amber) Buckingham, Jeffrey Buckingham, and Donn Barbian; great-granddaughter, Madeline Buckingham.
Besides her parents, two brothers preceded in death, Harold and Robert Gerber.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Ethan Steinbrenner and Rev. Steven Wilkens officiating
Burial will be in the Cold Spring Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the church until the time of service.

Memorials may be made to the church or Rainbow Hospice Care, Inc. of Jefferson.
