Nancy Lorraine Riggs

Nancy L. Riggs, 86, Fort Atkinson, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018, at her home with her family by her side.
She was born on May 22, 1932 in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Herman and Edna (Berner) Raddatz.
Nancy was a graduate of the Fort Atkinson High School, class of 1950.
She married Russell E. Riggs on September 12, 1953 in Des Moines Iowa. He died on January 5, 1994.
She had been employed by Thomas Industries, Clorox, later called Moore’s Sea Food.
Nancy was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and its Dorcas Society. She was a member of the first confirmation class at Bethany.
Nancy enjoyed anything to do with crafts and enjoyed baking.
Survivors include her son, Russell D. Riggs of Fort Atkinson; grandchildren, David and Darrick Riggs and Christopher Riggs-Boss all of Whitewater; sister, LaVern (Mike) Krebs of Fort Atkinson; sister-in-law, Patricia Raddatz of Fort Atkinson; several nieces nephews, other relatives and friends;
Also preceding in death was her husband, Russell; brother, Eugene Raddatz; sons, Randy and Daniel.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church with Pastor Ethan Steinbrenner officiating.
Burial will be in the Hebron Cemetery.
Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the church until the time of service.
If desired, memorials may be made to Crown of Life Christian Academy.
